Message from the Headteacher

As we return from the Easter break our Year 11 students are in the final stretch before their GCSE examinations.  Our students are taking advantage of all of the extra support on offer and I am sure will fulfil their undoubted potential in the Summer. As ever, whilst GCSE results are important they are a snapshot of students at a defined point and they do not highlight and celebrate all of the other skills, characteristics and qualities that our students show every day which make them such amazing young people.

We welcomed back our students from Italy who were skiing over the Easter break who had a fantastic trip. This week has seen our Art Ambassadors get ready for their display at the Suffolk Show as well as the trip for our Health and Social Care to a Care Home in Stowmarket to see how their learning plays out in the world of work.

Our Year 7 students, ably assisted by older students, will take part in the Maths Challenge this week where students are asked to solve Maths based problem and puzzles.
